For Sweden , with a population less than 10 million that ’ s dependent on international collaboration , I see this as a very good opportunity for us to be the one who ’ s leading the development but together with other leading mining nations .”
Cross-country collaboration is at the core of SMAG ’ s mission and ethos . But how has the organisation managed to bridge both a geographic and cultural divide ? “ When we started this initiative , we tried to connect with key mining organisations , the ones that are driving innovation within the industry . We started working with these regional and national companies . We found out their needs , how they operate , and how we can collaborate with them because we all more or less have the same
