Getting stuck in traffic in the world ’ s most overworked city could be a thing of the past if Falcon Aviation Service ’ s collaboration with Eve to trial flying helicopter taxis in the city from 2026 takes off . While the proposed vertical take-off and landing ( eVTOL ) taxis will be offered initially as touristic flights , Falcon and Eve will work together with local stakeholders and authorities to support developing the Urban Air Mobility ecosystem for the city and wider UAE , with business taxis on the city of gold ’ s horizon . This launch puts Dubai , which was recently ranked the world ’ s hardest working , and among the world ’ s safest , as a global leader in sustainable Urban Air Mobility transportation .
