His previous role before joining Deem was President of Zafin , where he was responsible for the company ’ s technology , engineering , product development , digital ecosystem and investments in new technologies . Prior to this , Chris was Global Head of Retail Products & Digital , Standard Chartered Bank . During his 13-year career at the bank , Chris held several leadership positions including Global Head Distribution , Regional Head Consumer Banking , Korea & Japan , and Group Head of Private Banking and Head of Consumer Banking for the UAE . Before joining Standard Chartered Bank , Chris was part of the founding team at 20twenty Financial Services , where he was Chief Strategist .
