Currently one of Wells Fargo ’ s highest-ranking female leaders , Lisa McGeough will relocate to London from New York in July to take the top job at HSBC Europe . With a 30-year career in financial services , that ’ s taken her from the trading floors of Wall Street as a 21-yearold in the 80s to executive boardrooms worldwide , McGeough has secured industry honours as well as inclusion into the prestigious Committee of 200 .
Starting out in markets finance roles , McGeough had eight years in leveraged finance at Morgan Stanley , before moving to Wells Fargo where she ’ s spent the last 15 years in more than a handful of leadership roles , including co-heading corporate and investment banking , heading up securities EMEA , leading the industrials group and the financial institutions group , and recently as head of international overseeing banking governance and cross-border activity . At HSBC , McGeough will spearhead client coverage across Europe , oversee regional product teams , and tackle risk management .
