The record-breaking explorer, who holds the Guinness World Record for being in the first team to reach the Southern Pole of Inaccessibility( SPI) on foot, has built his life and career on sharing one-of-a-kind adventures to the most remote, unusual places and cultures on our planet. Growing up spending his summers outdoors in Corfu, swimming, exploring and rescuing animals, Henry soon started guiding horseback safaris in the Kenyan bush and worked as a jackeroo on a remote sheep station in South Australia. He even tried corporate banking, for an all-too-brief time.“ I worked hard, I needed the discipline but, within two years I was out of there having spent my time dreaming of Africa and beyond,” says Henry of his foray into the‘ normal’ world of Goldman Sachs. As it turns out,‘ beyond’ won, with Henry falling into polar exploration after“ not knowing what to do next and having a whiskey or two.”
