BOSS MOVES

One month in, John Ternus CEO is wasting no time in preparing Apple for its next big tech move. The 25-year company veteran has focused his efforts in an area he knows best: hardware. Under his leadership, Apple recently announced its first-ever foldable phone – a technology that isn’ t fully out of its prototype stage – as well as upgrades to the company’ s iPhone 18 Pro models and its Apple Watch lineup. Many have long awaited Apple’ s foray into AI technologies under Tim Cook, but a coherent strategy never materialised. Industry analysts believe with John’ s hardware background, Apple – a company currently with a market cap of more than US $ 4tn – may look to integrate AI technology more prominently across its existing and future product line.
