Title: Chairman and Managing Director Company: Reliance Industries

Industry: Conglomerate( Energy, Telecom, Retail)

From a Yemeni-born father’ s trading house to the gravitational centre of Indian capitalism, Mukesh Ambani has spent a lifetime proving that scale is a strategy. Reliance refines more oil than some nations consume, runs India’ s largest retailer and connects half a billion people through Jio, the telecoms insurgency that made mobile data cheaper in India than almost anywhere on Earth and rewired a country’ s digital life in five years. Now he is building gigawatt AI data centres at Jamnagar, the same town where his father built the refinery, and courting the world’ s technology giants as partners rather than patrons. The next act, distributing an empire among three children without breaking it or them, may be the hardest trade this famously patient dealmaker has ever attempted. businesschief. com 87
