You’ ll find over 200km of tracks and modern infrastructure, shops and leisure facilities. It’ s the perfect weekend getaway for relaxation and fresh air. Drive north in summer and you’ ll reach Costa Brava. The further you go, the better it gets – think pine-covered cliffs and turquoise coves. Cadaqués is the star village and a quintessential Mediterranean resort. If you need more downtime, make sure you skip the generic tours. The Dalí Museum in Figueres is a surrealist masterpiece and well worth the trip. For late-night decompression, head to Marula Café. It’ s off the beaten path, and by no means a luxury stop, but the music and dancing are exactly what you need after a long week.
