UPFRONT | EDITOR’ S MESSAGE I LOVED THAT BILL ANDERSON, the man at the helm of one of the biggest companies in the world, admitted that people didn’ t like working for him when he first ventured into leadership. It’ s the kind of honesty and humility that still – regrettably – doesn’ t always exist in business.
In reality, I expected nothing less. Anderson is the man, after all, that is leading Bayer with his own unique and successful style: ditching traditional leadership and bureaucracy for empowerment, empathy and less‘ him’, more teams. Something, thankfully, far more human.
What’ re less human are superpowers, which Blue Yonder CEO Duncan Angove brings to the table this issue. Unfortunately, depending on what you’ re after, we’ re not talking flight or invisibility – however good they may be. Instead, he gives us unique insight into the power of imagination, creativity and the‘ say-do’ mindset. It’ s a cracking story.
Thanks for reading.
