I try to always put across three things that are never ever negotiable and that is ethics , loyalty and honesty . That is a given . The next piece of advice I would give is spend 100 percent of your time doing your job , and then 15 percent of your time doing some networking and 15 percent of your time doing some benchmarking . Look at competition , look at behaviour . That ’ s 130 percent of your time , a day well spent .
