Imagine if AI wasn’ t just about speed and control, but actually slower and more unpredictable? It would look like this, the results of an art installation by Vera Van der Burg that uses generative AI to mould clay into emotional concepts and images. The idea is to encourage us to view AI not as an automated shortcut but a reflective partner we have to‘ knead’, spend time understanding and use as a dialogue partner, not a servant. The abstract forms also reject the polished, perfect results we expect from AI.
