NET ZERO THE NEW OFFICE STANDARD
If clothes, tech and consumables are circular, then why not buildings? That’ s the approach of Polish R & D creative agency MJZ and ReVistula, a project that reimagines a tired Warsaw office space into a net-zero landmark. Rather than environmentally costly demolition, MJZ have applied circular thinking, ecological strategies and new construction technologies to the office space along Warsaw’ s Vistula riverfront. The workplace-cum-prototype uses repurposed building materials, circulates water to regulate internal climate, provides coworking and collaborative spaces, and is designed as a hydro-botanical landscape, using water and plant systems to make a responsive, living landscape.
