IS AI MAKING US LONELY?
Anthropic surveyed 132 of its own engineers, finding that AI use is radically changing the nature of work. Beyond efficiency and productivity, the study shows that AI is impacting the social side of work. Respondents said Claude is now the first stop for questions that used to be asked of colleagues, impacting mentorship and collaboration opportunities. One said:“ I like working with people and it’ s sad that I‘ need’ them less now … More junior people don’ t come to me with questions as often.”
