NEW YORK is the epicentre of so many industries in the US – fashion, finance, advertising, the list goes on.
I love the professional attitude in America, but particularly New York, whether it’ s the“ sure, let’ s give this pilot a go, worst case it doesn’ t work” approach or the“ let’ s turn this business relationship into a happy hour drink and really get to know each other” mindset.
When it comes to business it’ s a tough place, but things happen, which is what you want as a leader – your time away has to be impactful and efficient.
For a global city New York is small, making it super easy to do five or six meetings in a day, something that’ s nearimpossible in California, where LA is so big, or meetings in the Bay are split between San Francisco and Palo Alto.
